Idaho park sale — resident rights
Idaho gives residents notice only when a manufactured home park is sold. This page is the resident side of that law: what triggers it, who must be told, the exact clocks, and how a purchase actually gets organized — computed from the national survey of state purchase laws and the statute it cites.
Trigger: Owner is about to sign a purchase agreement for the community — notice is required 15 days before signing
Who must be told: Three officers of the resident association designated in writing by the association
Who can act: Resident association formed for the purpose of purchasing the community
| Step | Clock | What the statute says |
|---|---|---|
| owner tells the association the park is being sold | 15 days from the owner’s notice | Notice must be given 15 days before the owner signs a purchase agreement. The statute sets no resident offer window after the notice. |

Assigning the right: Whether the right can be assigned was not stated in the national survey summary — confirm with a local attorney or the state housing agency before counting on it.
No right of first refusal and no purchase window. Notice-only and preconditioned: residents must first form an association to purchase the community and give the owner notice of their interest and the names and addresses of three designated officers.
